What we’re here to do.
Make soap good enough to use every day, and sell it in the sizes a daily habit actually needs. One real ingredient, grass-fed beef tallow, made cold-process the old way. Nothing hidden, and no claims we can’t keep.
I’m Jono Chowdhury, and I co-founded tallowsoap.com with Richard Pierce.
Our mission is a simple one. Make a single honest product, and let it lift everyone it touches, the people who use it and the makers who make it alike.
I’ve spent more than 30 years building things, the platforms, businesses, and the teams behind them. Those platforms have powered over 10,000 websites. Richard is a serial entrepreneur who has built one business after another, and these days he spends his time helping owners of every size grow their revenue and increase their profits.
What we actually do is narrow and deliberate. We work with a network of small tallow soap makers to supply grass-fed beef tallow soap in bulk. We’re not a collective, and there’s no conglomerate behind us. We’re a business with a community of makers and business partners around it, the people who make the soap and the businesses who help it stand up, all working to the same standard.
Every maker in the network is eligible for a free website*, built by my other business, vervology®, so they can grow their own business alongside ours, and they join our advising community when they do. The idea behind it is the oldest one there is. A rising tide lifts all boats. If you’d like to join the supplier community, apply to the maker network.

Back to the soap itself. We are tallow soap. We are tallowsoap.com, and we set the standard. Grass-fed beef tallow, one ingredient, no synthetics, fragrance-free, and we don’t sell extruded detergent.
It isn’t for everyone, and that’s perfectly fine. But the people who know tallow tend not to go back, and once you’ve felt the difference it’s a fair question to ask why you’d keep buying detergent that strips the goodness out of your family’s skin.
